General Information Hunt with us in a challenging mountainous setting of mixed sagebrush and pine forest for mature bulls. Our hunting area is listed by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to have one of the highest bull-cow ratios in the state. The country is very open with great visibility. Our plans for elk hunting in 2008 include: 2 Unlimited Archery hunts, 2 Rifle - Controlled Permit Bull Hunts, and several Permit Cow Elk hunts. A maximum of 4 hunters will be on each hunt. Because these are prime hunts and fill up early, book your hunt as early as possible. All of the archery hunts and the first rifle hunt will be during the prime bugling period. Calling will be the preferred technique during this period. The later hunts will combine some calling, spot and stalk, and tracking. All of our veteran guides are well trained in these hunting methods.
8 Day Guided Archery Elk Hunts Our area opens for unlimited archery hunts in late August through September. These hunts are during the bugle season and rut. This is some of the most exciting hunting in North America. You can expect to see and hear lots of bulls while hunting at this time. This hunt is for either sex. Archery Hunt Dates and Prices

8 Day Guided Controlled Rifle Bull Hunts Our limited controlled bull elk rifle hunts are in October. As an outfitter we are granted 4 allocated tags for these bull hunts. This means that at least 4 of our clients will draw a tag. Other hunters desiring these hunts have an opportunity to draw one of the non-allocated, nonresident tags. Application for the permits is made in May with results of the drawing by July 12. All License, Tag, and Permit applications should be made through the outfitter to insure application for the correct area, and to take advantage of the outfitter's tag allocation. On the first rifle hunt in both 2003 and 2004 we had 100% sucess. The 2003 hunt was almost unbelievable with all four hunters filling their tags in the first two days of the hunt. These hunts, based on past results, promise to be one of the very best opportunities to take a trophy bull. The bulls are normally still bugling during the Sept. 30 to Oct. 7 hunt, making this a very special hunt. We can arrange bull elk hunts with fellow outfitters at nearby locations for those who are unsucessful in permit application for our area. These are non-drawing areas and only a license and tag are required. Hunt Dates and Prices

5 and 7 Day Limited Entry Cow Hunts For the meat hunter, we
also have a late season, drawing only, cow hunt. Because of the large
number of elk in the area, we have enjoyed great success on the late
cow hunt. This a good hunt for the Idaho resident or even the nonresident
seeking to fill the freezer with the very finest, best tasting protein
you'll ever eat. These hunts are a great first-time opportunity for
you to spend time with your wife, your son, or your daughter. Drawing
a permit for this hunt should be relatively easy.
